RJ45 Modular Boot Blue

The RJ45 Strain Relief Boots are small rubber end caps made to slip over and cover the modular plug at the end of an Ethernet cable. They fit Cat5e and Cat6 twisted pair cables and standard RJ45 8P8C connectors. These boots are designed to extend the life of the modular plug by protecting it from dust and Oxidation. It also protects the cable by reducing cable bend radius which can cause reduced speeds and data loss. It can prevent the cable from being torn or cracked as well as protecting the latch clip from snagging or snapping off.

The Strain Relief boots are typically used on newly made Ethernet patch cables. Just install the boot onto the new cable before terminating connector ends, then slide boot over the modular plug when ready. These boots can also be reused after disassembling a cable.  Our strain relief boots are easy to coordinate with your Ethernet cables giving it a nice organized look.
